Boys Football
The boys enjoyed a competitive run this year as their hard work and endeavour was rewarded with a place in the semi-final. Unfortunately, they lost out to a very skilful Gaelscoil Phortlaoise on the day but they can hold their heads high after representing the school with great pride. Big improvements were made throughout the duration of the campaign as the boys developed their skill and fitness levels. Their dedication to training, improved teamwork and positive attitude saw them notch up wins over Rosenallis, Raheen and Mountrath in what was a classic encounter. Despite valiant efforts against Clonaghadoo and Gaelscoil Phortlaoise in the group stages, they came up short. These two teams went on to contest the division final.
